The Melbourne Airport Master Plan is an important document that shapes the future for Melbourne Airport.
Updated every five years, the plan outlines our vision for Melbourne Airport's medium and long-term future. It includes plans for future runways, terminals, transport access and other key developments.
Variation to the 2008 Melbourne Airport Master Plan
On 5 July 2010 the Federal Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government approved a variation to the 2008 Melbourne Airport Master Plan.
In summary, the variation provides the following:
