Retailing at Melbourne Airport

In recent years, airport retailing has changed. It is now a global business and a core strategy of many successful retailers. Melbourne Airport offers access to valuable and timely market information, brand exposure on an international stage and a defined and growing customer base. This makes airport retailing distinctly different to retailing in other environments.

The final stages of Melbourne Airport’s expanded T2 retail precinct are now nearing completion, and as such, all concessionary opportunities at Melbourne Airport are now occupied.

Trading hours

As an airport, Melbourne Airport operates 24 hours per day. In line with this, our retailers open for extended trading hours, up to 21 hours per day to coincide with flight schedules.
