Macchinetta – 100 per cent fairtrade organic beans sourced from Ethiopia and Columbia, and roasted locally in Melbourne.
Why fair trade organic? Fair trade guarantees that third-world producers have received: a price for their goods that covers the cost of subsistence living; a fair trade premium that goes back to the producers' community, creating funds for educational and medical infrastructure; long-term contracts that allow producers' long-term planning and environmental production practices for the environment. Fair trade organic ensures sustainable farming without the use of chemicals and synthetic fertilizers - our packaging and cups are 100 per cent recyclable. Please use the bins provided and it will all be diverted from land fill to recycling plants.
