    The Chaplaincy

    Supporting the airport community

The Chaplaincy Service exists to provide:

    • Support to all airport staff, management, aircrew and the many organisations onsite by listening, visiting and providing emotional and spiritual support across all faiths and belief systems.
    • A helpful resource to people facing special needs, stress or loss, including passengers.
    • Chaplaincy support is provided in the event of a major airport incident.

    Prayer Room

The prayer rooms are open 24/7. The Islamic Faith Prayer Room is now open in T2 Arrivals (T3 Amenities Corridor). The Multifaith Prayer Room will open at the end of March 2021.

Prayer rooms are also located in T2 International Departures (After Security) adjacent to Cafe Vue.

Martyn, the coordinating chaplain, comes with over fifteen years of experience from The Salvation Army as well as nearly ten years as a volunteer chaplain with Victoria Police. He passionately advocates for holistic care, seeking justice with regard to human rights and welfare. He is supported by a very experienced team skilled in personal and practical care.
