    Online booking FAQ

    How do I change my arrival or departure date or times?

    All fare types can be amended up to 2 hours prior to your booking. Simply go to 'manage my booking' to cancel to your booking. See parking terms and conditions for full details.

    How do I cancel my booking?

    All fare types can be cancelled, but fare conditions apply. Lite fares can be cancelled up to 36 hours prior to the date and time of booking, Saver fares up to 24 hours prior and Flexi fares up to 2 hours prior. Simply go to 'manage my booking' to cancel to your booking. Cancellation fees apply to all fare types if cancelled outside the respective periods. See parking terms and conditions for full details.

    Will I be given a specific parking space with my booking?

    No, there is no specific bay allocation within our car parks. Instead, you are free to park in any available parking space within your chosen car park. Simply follow the green light indicators in teh At Terminal Car Parks to find a park quicker.

    Can I enter the car park earlier or later than my confirmed booking time?

    You can enter the car park within 1 hour either side of your confirmed booking time for no additional charge. If you enter outside of this grace period, your credit card will be debited with the cost of the additional time spent in the car park, based on the over stay rates.

    Can I enter with a different credit card to the one used at the time of booking?

    To avoid additional charges, you'll need to enter the car park with the same card you nominated at the time of your online booking. Currently we are unable to record a second credit card, so we recommend that you book with one that will be in your possession at the time of entering the car park, as this will be your ticket to enter. If you are unable to do so, collect a ticket on entry, then call help on exit so we can manage your booking to avoid additional changes.

    Can I book online for a short stay?

    Yes, online bookings are available for short or long stays.

    Can I book disabled parking?

    All of our car parks have disabled bays available and you can follow the online booking instructions. Once you arrive, simply proceed to any of the allocated disabled bays within the carpark. View the location of our disabled bays.

    How far ahead do I need to book online?

    You can book your park online from 12 months in advance up to 2 hours before your arrival time. To secure the best price, book your parking as early as possible.

    What payment methods do you accept for online bookings?

    You can make an online booking with your VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club card. Melbourne Airport Parking does not charge credit card fees with your booking.

    What is a Flexi fare?

    Flexi fares give you the flexibility to cancel or make changes 2 hours before your booking for no fee. You'll also be able to change the date or arrival time up to 2 hours before with the fare difference paid for or refunded accordingly. See our parking terms and conditions for more.

    What is a Lite fare?

    Lite fare is our best value fare, which allows free cancellation up to 36 hours prior to your booking arrival date and time.  Any cancellations within 36 hours will incur a 15% cancelation fee. See our parking terms and conditions for more.

    What is a Saver fare?

    Saver fares allows you to cancel your booking for freeu p to 24 hours prior to your booking arrival date and time. Any cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 5% cancellation fee. See our parking terms and conditions for more.

    I've lost my booking confirmation – what do I do?

    Don't worry, you are still able to enter and exit the booked car park. Simply insert the credit card you used to make the booking at the boom gate.

    Can I receive a refund if I stay shorter than my pre-booked time?

    Online bookings offer a discount price on parking, however they are only available for pre-bookings only. Once you enter the car park, you won't be able to change your length of stay. You won't be eligible for a refund if you end up staying shorter than your booking period.

    General parking FAQ

    What's the maximum time I can park my car for?

    You can book online for up to 45 days of parking. Drive up parking is available for an unlimited time period, however you'll need to notify us if it's longer than 60 days.

    How often does the Long Term car park shuttle run?

    Our free shuttle bus runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The bus departs every five minutes during peak times.

    Where does the Long Term car park shuttle stop?

    There are 8 stops in the Long Term Car Park and stops at every terminal in the following order: Terminal 4, Terminal 3 and Terminal 2, then Terminal 1.

    Where can I park my motorcycle? Can I receive a discounted fare?

    Allocated motorcycle parking is located within the At Terminal T1 T3 T3 Car Park. You're also free to park within any of the other available bays. Please note, normal car parking rates apply for motorcycles. See more information about motorcycle parking.

    Where can I park my bike?

    There are bicycle racks available on the ground level of the At Terminal T1 T3 T3 Car Park. Please note, it is not permitted to park bicycles on footpaths, walkways, entry/exit doors, next to fire hydrants/hose reels or in stairwells. See more information about bicycle parking.

    Can I bring a different vehicle to the one I registered with my booking?

    If you choose to drive a different car on the day, please update your booking with new registration details. Simply go to 'manage my booking' to update to your booking.

    What are the height and length restrictions of your car parks?

    Our parking bays are standard length, and can't accommodate oversized vehicles such as campervans or trailers.

    Height restrictions of our carparks are:

    • At Terminal car parks (T1-3, T4) = 2.2m
    • Premium parking = 2.2m
    • Long Term Car Park = 2.2m
    • Business Car Park = 2.3m
