Melbourne Airport is proud to support the Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS) Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal virtual tin shake.
This year, the RCH is celebrating 90 years of caring for sick children, and currently, for one of Melbourne Airport’s own team members. Joel Plueckhahn a Senior Safety Advisor has his little three-year-old son Oli in the hospital, being treated for neuroblastoma, a very rare form of childhood cancer with only a 50 percent survival rate. Joel and his family are so grateful to the amazing doctors, nurses and support staff who have extended a complex treatment plan to brave little Oli, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy and immunotherapy – as well as caring for Joel and his entire family during these devastating past months.
To provide the world-class critical care required for Oli and all the other sick children in the Royal Children’s Hospital, please join us and donate to our virtual tin shake today. Thank you for supporting Melbourne Airport and ARFFS’ fundraising in support of the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
