Competition Terms & Conditions - 13 July – 31 August 2018
By entering the Melbourne Airport Parking & Mastercard – Real Madrid (competition), you acknowledge that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to be bound by them. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
This competition is being run by Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) Pty Ltd ABN 62 076 999 114 (Promoter) of Level 2, Terminal 2, Melbourne Airport, Tullamarine, Victoria 3043. To contact the Promoter, please call (03) 9297 1523.
1. WHO CAN ENTER?
a. To be eligible to enter the competition you must: i. reside in Victoria; and ii. be aged 18 years or over.
b. Employees, directors or officers of the Promoter, any companies or agencies associated with this competition, or their immediate families, are ineligible to enter.
2. HOW TO ENTER
a. The competition period commences at 10am AEST on 13/07/2018 and ends at 12:00am AEST on 31/08/2018 (competition period), and the Promoter reserves the right to extend the competition period at any time (subject to regulatory approval).
b. To enter the competition, entrants must, during the competition period, book Melbourne Airport Parking online at www.melbourneairport.com.au/real-madrid, submit the promo code RM2018 in the relevant field online, pay the relevant fee using their Mastercard and park at Melbourne Airport before 30 September 2019.
c. The promo code RM2018 will only work on bookings made online between 13 July 2018 and 31 August 2018 for parking bookings before 30 September 2019. Bookings outside the competition period will not be entered into the draw.
d. Entries will only be valid for payments made by Mastercard credit cards.
e. No entries outside the competition period will be accepted. Incomplete, incoherent or inappropriate entries will be invalid.
f. There are no limits to the number of entries per person if the above criteria has been satisfied. There can however, only be one valid entry per booking.
g. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, employer and transaction value) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
a. The prize is 1 double pass to the Real Madrid World of Football Experience valued at $70 ($35 per ticket). There are 2 double passes to be won each day for 50 days during the competition period totalling 200 tickets for the duration of the promotion. Total prize value is $7000 as at the publishing date of these terms and conditions.
b. The prize does not include any costs associated with redeeming the prize such as travel, meals, accommodation, spending money or taxes.
c. The prize is transferable to another person.
d. No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.
e. If a prize is not available for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winner agrees in writing and subject to any approvals from regulatory authorities. If the winner does not agree despite reasonable attempts by the Promoter to reach an agreement and the prize is not available due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by the Promoter to be of equal or higher value.
4. SELECTION OF WINNER
a. Winners will be chosen at random by Melbourne Airport Parking’s media agency, McCann, and will take place at their Sydney premises at Royal Naval House, 32 Grosvenor Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
b. 7 days’ worth of winners will be drawn at the end of each week during the competition period on the following dates;

Note, in week 7, 8 days’ worth of winners will be drawn.
c. The first valid entries drawn each week will win the prize as described above.
d. Winners will be contacted by mobile or email and have 24 hours to confirm acceptance of their prize. The names of the winners may be published on the Melbourne Airport Facebook page.
e. The results of the draw will be final and binding and no further correspondence, aside from that contemplated in paragraph d above, will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw. This is a game of chance.
f. The Promoter will email the tickets to the winners within 72 hours of the draw date listed at 4b above, subject to winners confirming acceptance of their prize in accordance with paragraph d.
g. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, employer and transaction value) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s dMiscretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
5. SECOND CHANCE DRAW
a. If a winner does not respond within 24 hours of being notified that they have won the competition, or that winner is not readily identifiable and reasonable efforts have been made by the Promoter to identify the winner were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize and the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner through a second chance draw.
b. If necessary, a second chance draw will be held at the same place as the first draw. The first valid entry drawn will win any unclaimed prize. Second chance draws, if any, will take place on the following dates;

c. Winners will be contacted by mobile or email and the name of the winners may be published on the Melbourne Airport Facebook page.
d. The results of any second chance draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.
e. The Promoter must distribute the prize to the winner within 72 hours of the draw.
6. PROMOTION AND MARKETING
a. By entering the competition, the winner/s agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material all editorial activities relating to the promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed, filmed for broadcast and photographed, as the Promoter may require without remuneration. The winner/s agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use any such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner/s (and his/her companion) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
b. Each winner also consents to the use and publication of their name, image and any other details provided by the winner in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winner.
c. You consent to Mastercard using your personal information to administer the experience and to recording your image while you are participating in any activity forming part of the experience. You agree that any photos, images or recordings may be used by Mastercard and in resources, promotions or advertising without any further notice or payment to you.
7. STANDARD TERMS
a. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval, and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable via the Melbourne Airport Facebook page. b. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports limit, exclude or modify the Promoter's liability in relation to the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Non-Excludable Guarantees Liability).
c. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees Liability, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition including:
i. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); ii. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; iii. any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; iv. any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions; v. any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or vi. use of the prize.
d. To the extent permitted by law including the Australian Consumer Law, if the competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries, subject to regulatory approval.
8. By participating in this competition, entrants release and hold harmless Facebook from any and all liability associated with this competition. The Promoter and entrants acknowledge that this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
9. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.
10. The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of Victoria.
