If you're planning on making changes to your existing site or territory, or embarking on a new development at Melbourne Airport, you will need to ensure the changes fit in with the Master Plan and Major Development Plan, then gain approval from both Melbourne Airport (as the Lessee Company) and the Airport Building Controller (ABC) prior to commencing any work.
Overnight closures on Tullamarine Freeway
To install new overhead road signage for our future Pick Up and Drop Off zones, parts of the Tullamarine Freeway will close overnight. The Tullamarine Freeway will be closed in both directions between Mickleham and Sunbury roads on Tue 17 Feb & Thu 19 Feb from 10pm to 5am. Detours will be in via place and temporary lane closures and speed reductions will also be in place before, between and after these works. Please allow an extra 20 minutes if you’re travelling to the airport during these times and follow detour signage. Thank you for your patience while we build your airport.
