ALL car parks are very busy this Labour Day long weekend, with limited drive-up spots available. Please consider alternative transport options.  If you do have a car park booking, please have your QR code ready for a smooth entry and exit and allow extra time to find a spot. Our roads and car parks may have changed since your last visit. Due to ongoing construction in the T123 car park Pick up and Drop off areas, passengers should plan for potential delays of up to an hour during peak times. Learn more about the Naarm Way Stage 2 project: https://www.melbourneairport.com.au/plan-ahead To avoid congestion, we recommend using the equivalent pick-up and drop-off facilities at nearby Terminal 4 car park, just a short 10-minute walk from Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Simply drive to the Terminal 4 Car Park and proceed to Level 2 for Drop off or Level 1 for Pick up. Thank you for your patience while we are building your airport.

Overview

Terminal 2 (T2) Amenities are being upgraded throughout departures. The new amenities will improve the traveller experience whilst creating a more inclusive range of facilities for travellers. The completed project will deliver a more consistent look and feel across the T2 departures precinct by delivering high quality facilities.

What's happening

Female amenities

Hoarding will be established in the departures satellite, opposite the Gate 3 Lounge. Works will commence in this space to build a brand-new female facility that will offer 16 cubicles, 14 hand wash basins and ample bench space. A new accessible amenity will also be provided at this site, as well as a parents room providing change tables and private feeding rooms.

The tenancy will be converted into a female and accessible amenity, and parents room.

Male amenities

Hoarding will be established around the amenities pod located at the Gate 11 lounge, to enable the conversion of the current amenities from a male, female and parents room, to a male only amenity.

This upgrade will offer 16 urinal pans, 6 cubicles and 7 hand wash basins.

The amenity pod at Gate 11 lounge will be converted to a male only facility.

Impact on travellers in 2025

There will be no disruption to amenities as we work through this project.

The project is expected to be completed by May 2025.

This project will enhance the comfort and convenience of travellers by providing modern, accessible, and inclusive facilities across Terminal 2 Departures.
