The car parks and roads at Melbourne Airport are very busy today

All car parks at Melbourne Airport are nearly sold out today. If you don't have a booking, consider alternate forms of transport to come to the airport. If you do have a booking, allow extra time to find a spot and have your QR code ready for a smooth entry. If using the Terminal 4 car park including pick up and drop off, please note Naarm Way is closed until mid November. To access the T4 car park, please exit the Tullamarine Freeway at Exit 18 on Mercer Drive, then turn right at the Airport Drive roundabout and follow the signs to the Terminal 4 car park. Proceed to Level 2 for drop-offs or Level 1 for pick-ups. Due to ongoing construction in the Terminal 1,2,3 car park pick-up and drop-off areas, passengers should plan for potential delays of up to an hour during peak times if you are being dropped off by a loved one, taxi or Uber.  Thank you for your patience while we are building your airport.

Eight primary school students in Melbourne’s north have graduated with $500 scholarships, to support their high school education, thanks to Melbourne Airport and Banksia Gardens Community Services’ joint scholarship program.

Four students from Gladstone Views Primary School and four from Holy Child Primary School were beaming with joy when they were awarded the scholarships at their graduation ceremonies in front of family and friends.

Melbourne Airport CEO Lyell Strambi said he was proud to be involved with Banksia Gardens who go above and beyond to support local school children.

“We have been partnering with Banksia Gardens since 2015 and over that time more than 20 scholarships have been distributed to grade six students, which we are really proud of,” said Mr Strambi.

“The students and families are truly appreciative of the financial support to help cover essential school items, such as books and uniforms, especially at this time of year.

“Helping young people in the community that our airport operates in is a real focus of ours and we are pleased to announce that our scholarship program will expand next year, with two additional local primary schools added to our recipient list.”

Banksia Gardens Community Services CEO Gina Dougall said “We are thrilled to be associated with Melbourne Airport who supports us so we can support our local community. The after school study programs are core to Banksia Gardens delivering education to our young people. We have assisted hundreds of young people to achieve better education outcomes.”
