In the next decade, Melbourne is projected to be Australia’s biggest city, hitting a population of more than 6 million. By 2038, almost 70 million people a year are expected to fly in an out of Melbourne Airport, making expansion crucial to support tourism, freight and trade.

To get in front of this growth Melbourne Airport is expanding its T2 Arrivals Hall to ensure Melbourne remains the premier gateway to Australia.

Opening at the end of 2020

While we upgrade the hall, some access points and facilities will change and we apologise for any disruptions this may cause.
 
During works, amenities located in between the T2 and T3 link (Ground Level) will be closed. 

Temporary toilet facilities and a Prayer Room will be relocated in front of T3.

If you are catching a Skybus, the Long Term Car Park shuttle bus or a taxi please exit the Arrivals Hall using the exit closest to Terminal 1.
