GOLD COAST AIRPORT - AS AT 10 MARCH

BRISBANE AIRPORT - AS AT 10 MARCH
Brisbane Airport is open and airlines have resumed some passenger services. They expect the schedule to build throughout the day, however there are still weather impacts that may affect some flights. Passengers are asked not to come to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking on a scheduled service. Please contact your airline directly to check your booking and flight status.
Please take care on the roads and if it is flooded, forget it. Stay safe and thank you for your patience.

- Airtrain services are suspended until further notice.
- Skygate and Terminal Transfer bus service are operating on a reduced schedule and will return to normal operations tomorrow, Sunday 9 March.
- Many retail and dining outlets across the Terminals, Skygate including Woolworths, DFO and the Service Centre are closed.
- The Acacia Street Plane Spotting area is closed.

AIRLINE SUPPORT AND TRAVEL OPTIONS
If you were scheduled to fly in or out of Ballina, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Coffs Harbour, or Lord Howe Island last week, we understand that Cyclone Alfred may impacted your travel plans. Here’s how airlines are supporting affected travellers.
QANTAS
Customers with bookings made on or before 3 March 2025, for travel between 4 and 9 March 2025, to/from the affected destinations listed below are eligible for:
Fee-free flight changes (move travel up to 14 days from the original departure date, subject to availability).
A travel credit if they choose not to travel.
Eligible Destinations: Bundaberg, Brisbane, Ballina, Hervey Bay, Coolangatta, Maroochydore, Coffs Harbour, and Lord Howe Island.
How to Change Your Booking:
If booked directly with Qantas, visit Manage Booking or call 13 13 13 (Australia only).
If booked via a travel agent, please contact them directly.

VIRGIN AUSTRALIA
Guests with tickets issued on or before 3 March 2025, travelling to/from Ballina, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Gold Coast, or Sunshine Coast between 4 and 8 March 2025, can:
Move their flight to a new date within 14 days of the original travel date (subject to availability) free of charge.
Cancel and request a travel credit.

Contact Virgin Australia’s Guest Contact Centre on 13 67 89. If booked via a travel agent, please reach out to them directly.

JETSTAR AUSTRALIA
Ballina Byron (BNK) flights on 5 March 2025 have been cancelled. Affected customers have been notified via SMS with options.
Customers flying to/from Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay, Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Ballina Byron between 4 March and 9 March 2025 can:
Change their flight for free (up to 7 days before or 14 days after the original date).
Cancel and receive a voucher for the value of untravelled flights.
Visit Manage Booking for changes or cancellations.

PARKING FLEXIBILITY
If you have a parking booking, please note our parking bookings are flexible:
• Bookings can be cancelled up to 2 hours before booked entry time
• If you are already parked at Melbourne Airport and are delayed coming home, bookings can be extended online via “Manage booking”.
