The car parks at Melbourne Airport are busy this week The Value Car Park is nearly sold out Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. If you do have a car park booking, please arrive 30 minutes earlier than usual and have your QR code ready for a smooth entry and exit. Due to ongoing construction in the Terminal T1 T2 T3 car park pick-up and drop-off areas, passengers should plan for potential delays of up to an hour during peak times if you are being dropped off by a loved one, taxi or Uber. To avoid congestion, we recommend using the equivalent pick-up and drop-off facilities at nearby Terminal 4 car park, which is a 10-minute walk to and from Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Simply drive to the Terminal 4 Car Park and proceed to Level 2 for drop-offs or Level 1 for pick-ups. Thank you for your patience while we are building your airport.

How to park after you have made a booking​

Already booked? You're on your way.​

​After securing your online booking and receiving your confirmation email:​

  • Download the QR code attached to your confirmation email. You can add it to your Google Pay or Apple Pay wallet or take a screenshot. Just make sure it’s readily accessible.
  • When you arrive at Melbourne Airport, head to the car park you booked. Refer to your confirmation email for directions and instructions.
  • To enter, scanthe QR code at the entry gate machine. 
  • To exit, scanthe same QR code you used to enter.

If you’re having trouble getting in or need further assistance, we have help buttons at all entries and exits. Just press and hold the “HELP” button, and one of our friendly customer service staff will be happy to assist you. 

Flexible bookings

You can amend or cancel your parking booking online at least 2 hours before your booked arrival time. Just click on the Manage My Booking option on our website and enter your booking details.

If you need to cancel within 2 hours of your booked arrival time, call our customer service team on +61 3 9297 1318 for assistance. Note that if your new booking costs more, you'll need to pay the difference.

How to park without a booking

Weren’t able to book online? No worries!

While booking online will save you both time and money, we understand that sometimes this may not be possible. To enter the car park without a booking:​

  • Simply drive up to the entry gates at your car park of choice​
  • To enter, tap or insert any credit card at the entry gate machine. You can also use Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • To exit, tap or insert the same credit card or payment method you used to enter.

Parking rates and payment

If you want to save more on your parking, booking online is the way to go! Our drive up rates differ from our online rates. So, if you want to lock in the best rates, pre-book your parking online now!

When you book online, you can pay with any major credit card as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you drive up without a booking, you can also use the same payment methods.

Please note that our car parks are now cashless. If you don’t have a credit card, you can still park at Melbourne Airport without a booking. Drive up to the entry ticket machine and press “Help” on the intercom button. Our customer service team can help to issue you a ticket. When you are ready to leave the Car Park, head to the ‘last chance to pay’ machine located near the exit gates. There you will be able to make a payment without a credit card​.
